I hope all you folks had a wonderful Earth Day and had a chance to get out to the great outdoors. :)
I was inspired by our friends over at Plant Trees, It's Self Defense to dig out the field guides that the hubby and I like to use on our outdoor travels and share them with our readers.

Oh, I love "Old Man's Garden" it's such a gorgeous book of nature storytelling! My favourite part was the story of Old Man as a tree. Great list!
Cheers!

nice selection of books and the picture was lovely! =]
Great sounding list :) That Old Man's Garden book does look amazing, with lovely looking illustrations.
Thanks folks! :)
Great resources - I'll have to get some of those so I can try to identify that alien goo fungus that grows around here, and also that one little bug I sometimes get in the house that looks like a little freakin CRAB. Miniscule brown bug with oversized crab claws. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I've never known what they were but I don't like what I see! Yikes!
*shudder*
