While on one of my thrift store adventures yesterday, I found three book wrapped in a ribbon. I couldn't help but feel someone had left me a present given what the books were about...
Songs of the Gael by Lachlan MacBean,
Songs of the Gael by Patrick Watson, and
The Poem-Book of the Gael by Eleanor Hull.
All for a big 3 bucks. But you can read them online for free by clicking the links.
Sláinte!

Thank you so much for the links! I have a friend, she plays celtic harp and has a deep interest in gaelic songs. Tomorrow I'll send her these links. I hope she'll get something useful for her.
ReplyDeleteBlessed be!
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to look for copies of these, myself. I also play the harp, so thank you for posting the links. *bounce*
I believe you WERE left a present, because I like believing things like that ;)
ReplyDeleteMargelaene & Amanda, you are most welcome! Please do let me know how you {& your friend!} make out with them. :)
ReplyDeletebeks: Me too! :D
I would have died and gone to heaven. Three beautiful books wrapped in ribbon? It's pure magic.
ReplyDeleteAnd the peacock in the Poem Book of the Gael... a gorgeous surprise.
I'm sad to say I haven't been to the bookstore in a while.
MUST GO!!! *strain strain*
I really like the archive.org online book display system. I've never seen that before. It's very good!
