Today is the anniversary of the term 'folklore'. Pretty exciting stuff for nerds like me! ;)

Haha that's a great article and a great site too - I love how on this day, you have a Dark Dorset article and we have Legendary Dartmoor (a cornucopia of folklore!) :D
We have plenty of folklore in our family, I'm convinced: we've even made up some of our own words!

I've spent many a night (and rainy day!) devouring the links on here. I think that stuff's fascinating. We had a friend in Southampton who was an archaeologist and we could go anywhere with him and he'd have all these great stories :) I'm not sure about our family's silliness being interesting however:D
An archaeologist is a good person to know! And perhaps that is how most folks feel about their family's lore. Or you get someone like me who thinks it their family's is interesting, and the only ones who agree are relations. ;)
