A couple of days ago I erected a birdie altar for some of my allies and set aside a part of it to represent the other feathered folk who visit us in our yard. Food and a clean source of water are always available to them, but I do get a little more ceremonious about it every once and a while.

Wonderful post! I love these ideas so thank you for sharing. Your altar is beautiful! I don't consider birds to be my spirit animals, but I am very inspired by them and love to watch them in the garden and forest.

I should clarify one thing...I don't see all birds as allies, just the two specific ones in the post. I have some that are a part of the land too. ;)
