My Favourite Movies for Hallowe'en/Samhain

The following is a list of movies that get watched religiously around this time of year in my household {although I tend to watch them often at other times of the year and not all of the could be considered 'scary'}. In no particular order:

The Wicker Man {the original version}
Rocky Horror Picture Show
The Secret of Roan Inish
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Sleepy Hollow
Donnie Darko

Pan's Labyrinth
The Others
Interview With a Vampire
Jacob's Ladder
Bram Stoker's Dracula

The Village
Six Feet Under {not a movie, but still fantastic!}

Ok, 13 is a good number to stop at! ;) What are your folks favourites?

Sláinte!

Your blog is looking so wonderful!!! I love the colours and adore the photos, as usual ^.^

I dunno how you do it, but you make everyday things look so magical!

I don't really like spooky movies (I'm such a wimp!) but I love the approach of the season.
Oh it snowed here yesterday >.< but it was gone by evening. I hope it's all clear there still, for you!

You got snow up there? Ewww. It's too earlier, even for the North! Here's to better weather for ya, until November at least. ;)

Great choices - I watched Pan's Labyrinth again last night actually...just so good.

I would add the Japanese Ring film, as I remember it as being probably the only film that has really scared me!

Also The Evil Deads...Bubba Ho Tep and Shaun of the Dead :)

Thanks for your great suggestions Bek. :) Ringu was pretty scary! And I am glad there is someone else here who loves Pan's Labyrinth as much as me!
