Merry Midsummer

Summer set lip to earth's bosom bare,
And left the flush'd print in a poppy there;
Like a yawn of fire from the grass it came,
And the fanning wind puff'd it to flapping flame.

~ from The Poppy by Francis Thompson

We hope that our readers have a chance to get out and enjoy the first day of Summer! May it be a sunny, merry one for you all. :)

Darroch: I hope that it is a good one for you! It is not one of my feast days, but it is still nice to celebrate the coming of Summer anyways! :D

Hertha: I am glad you like it and have a wonderful Summer! :)
