Recipes for Samhain/Halloween

Halloween is fast approaching, and for some of my fellow Pagans in the northern hemisphere, Samhain is around the same time (!!!) Here are a few yummy recipes that you might want to try out to celebrate:

Fresh Pumpkin Pasta from Vegan Dad

Sour Cream Apple Pie from Posie Gets Cozy

Spicy Apple-Butter Baked Acorn Squash Rings from Seasonal Ontario Food

Honey Pumpkin Mead from Stella Maris

Pumpkin Cider Bread from Morbid Outlook

Samhain Mead from Druid's Path

And from A Boke of Gode Cookery

Clarrey

Dragontail

Trayne Roste

And for a spooky commercial brew, try any of the yum yums from Wychwood

On the topic of recipes, I had the great fortune of winning The Heirloom Tomato Cookbook by Mimi Luebberman from Heavy Petal's tomato recipe contest (yay!) It was for a recipe I entered that was found in my Grandmother's recipe box. Thanks Andrea! :)

Sláinte!
