Ahh - Gypsy Vanner Horses....beautiful to watch in the field...but hard on a girls body to ride. They are quite wide!

Oh I would love to ride one of them. They look like straight out of some magickal land. Most horses I've met, I don't want to ride. To me it takes away from their wild spirit. I like them to be able to pick and choose who they will let be close to them.

When I lived on the farm, I never presumed to force myself on the 5 horses we had. If they wanted to be near me, then they'd walk up to me. Otherwise, I just observed them and felt how golden blue their hearts were.

They certainly are pretty to look at, and I am sure they would make even those with long legs a hard time! I have a soft spot for draft breeds though, and don't mind a little stretch :)

Oh and Diana, you're another one I need to get into the country. *winks*
