I went pretty crazy with recycling cans into planters. I think I had actually made more than I had plants.

This is our little outdoor altar. One of the cats knocked over the corn Goddess statue a few years ago and smooshed her face, so she is now left outside in the elements. Even though she looks a little worn, I don't think she minds.

A pic of early in the season of the 'sunny' part of the balcony. We don't get very much sun, save for the evening...our balcony is Northwest facing. Pictured are chives, lemon balm, a cactus (Sid!), mixed greens, hotpeppers, mint, catnip, mini roses, Irish moss, the tips of tomato plants (at bottom), and I am not sure what is in the smaller pots.

Another early shot of the 'sunny part' this time with lavender, tomatoes, and a budding bamboo.

I like your blog. You take some pretty good pictures. It isn't a garden until the nome shows up! lol!!
Everything is so beautifully arranged and colorful.
Thank you both for the compliments!! :)

I love your creative use of space and containers. Your painting on the cans is lovely. I see some things I have in my garden ... rocks with words on them, the sun plaque, use of rocks, and the little bird (which I just bought last week).
Thanks :) Since we both have quite a few similar things in the garden, I have no choice but to conclude that we both have impeccable taste *winks*
ohmy- you little earth-dwelling dakinis, you. I love every picture. your garden sacred space must be buzzing with plant conversations and songs. these pictures really uplifted me. i needed it. thanks.
Hehe, I do believe that is the first time I have been called a 'dakini'!
I am glad you enjoyed the pics Davka, and thanks for the compliments :)
